Speech Steve Jürkel (RC Zürich City) - Infrastructural Conditions at UZH

martedì 26 febbraio 2019 19:00, Restaurant Vis-à-Vis

Dear Rotaractors, friends and guests,

With around 26'000 students, the University of Zurich (UZH) is the largest university in Switzerland and an important hub for education and research - for Zurich as well as for Switzerland. As a top 100 university, the UZH has to compete in a worldwide contest of universities.

Outstanding infrastructure is one decisive factor for the future success in this competition.

Our next guest speaker Steve Juerkel (member of Rotary Zürich City and Chief of Staff of the real estate and operations direction at UZH) will talk about the challenges an possible solutions for the infrastructural development of the UZH over the next decades.

The speech will be in English.

After the speech, we will as always enjoy a nice dinner and drinks and have room for further discussions about our plans for the next year.

We are looking forward to welcoming many of you!

Best,
Alexandra
