Social Project: Honey Bees - Part 1

Sunday, July 7, 2019 13:30, Herrenweg 275, 8706 Meilen

Dear Rotaractors, friends and guests,

We would like to invite you to our next bee-themed social event. After having learned about the importance of wild bees for the ecosystem (on Monday July 1st), we will now have a very special project with wild bees.

We will become the godfather of 2 bee colonies, which will produce 30 glasses of honey, which we will harvest later. The glasses will be branded with our Club Logo and we will sell the glasses to our members, friends and Rotarians.

The event will be in 2 parts: During the first event, which will take place on July 7th 2019, we will visit our 2 bee colonies and their queens and we will learn something about the importance of honey bees.
During a second date in a few weeks, we will harvest the honey of our 2 bee colonies and fill it into glasses. This date will be announced thereafter.

We are looking forward to welcoming many of you!

Best,
Tom
